Spring Break: Don’t Forget to Pack These 3 Things with You

Oral Health, Abington, PAIf you are heading somewhere solo for spring break or if you’re bringing along your entire crew, then the thought of escaping the cold may be enough to get you ready to pack early. While you may be filling your suitcase with sunscreen and swimwear, don’t forget to pack some dental tools as well to make sure that you avoid a cavity and that your mouth stays comfortable.

Wireless Water Flosser

If you use a water flosser every day at home, don’t forget to bring it with you on your spring break vacay! Water flossers used to be the size of a pitcher of water with a slew of wires coming out of them which made them impossible to travel with. Luckily, technology has made them a lot smaller and easier to travel with because they are now wireless and a lot smaller.

If you have temporomandibular joint disorder or bruxism, then your night guard may save your teeth and your jaw from a lot of pain and discomfort. Even though you may think that taking a vacation means taking a vacation from all things, make sure that you don’t forget to pack your mouthguard with you; that way you can avoid any unnecessary teeth grinding or worse, a TMJ flare up while on vacay.

Extra Toothbrushes

If you are traveling with friends, your kids, or someone else’s kids then you know that someone is bound to forget their toothbrush. To avoid an unnecessary trip to the supermarket, make sure that you save the day and bring along some extra toothbrushes with you!

Make sure that you use the tips in this article is that you don’t come back from vacay with a mouth full of sore or cavity filled teeth. To learn more about better ways to take care of your oral health, contact our Abington office today at (215) 885-0555.
